I just wanted to do a quick post today to inform would-be consumers of some of the issues I have encountered so far with my new Warmachine 2 player battle box. None of it is terribly serious, and all can be... somewhat corrected (aside from the swords IMO, which I'll talk about later on.)

Mordheim Warlock, ready for gaming again...
A while ago, I had been using my Mordheim Warlock for some introductory games of D&D (nearly all Warhammer figures work great for this, the bases are sized appropriately for 1" grids.) I hadn't really remembered the possibility of dice bowlers -- you know, the type of people who seem to inadvertently aim their rolls at the miniatures on the table. After quite a few knocks, I wound up losing the dagger hand of the Warlock, and it was nowhere to be found. I needed a replacement. Luckily, the Empire Battle Wizards plastic kit had more than enough spare bits, some even more appropriate than what he originally had in hand.

Dark Eldar Conversion & Weathering Powder Woes
Let this be a cautionary tale to weathering powder noobs. What you see here is ultimately the end result of a mistake which caused my model to turn green. I liked the idea of possibly being able to use Vallejo Pigments as a weathering powder, and wanted to add a little bit of green oxidation to the brass pieces of the armor.

Eldar Farseer
Hi all, just wanted to share my Ulthwe Farseer that's been done for a while. He was completed before the Mordheim gang and was a huge influence on how I did my Elf Ranger. I'm really a novice when it comes to highlighting, I just like that the blue stands out so much on the black miniature.

Talisman 40k: "Relic" to hit shelves this summer.
Announced at the GAMA trade show yesterday, my FLGS Games & Stuff has revealed Relic, the upcoming 40k version of the old board game Talisman. It doesn't have any official information on the Fantasy Flight Games site yet, but my FLGS has assured me it's real.
